Design and collaboration go hand in hand. When we want to discuss problems, imagine new ideas and brainstorm solutions, it’s best to bring people together.
That alone doesn’t automatically guarantee creative outputs and ideas. Too often, a discussion can go unfocused and brainstormed solutions end up scattered lacking direction, or the session dissolves into a competition of who can assert their ideas louder. Collaboration comes in many flavors, from small informal working sessions and group critiques to full-blown workshops.
Design workshops are an opportunity for a team to untangle a problem together by going through a series of group exercises designed to get to a specific outcome. Workshops are about getting stuff done, and are often used as milestones to start things or make decisions.Maniams team hosts and facilitates multiple design workshop formats.

A Design Thinking workshop is a hands-on, activity-based session built around the Design Thinking process. It can last two hours, two days, or even a full week—it all depends on the context and the goals at hand.

The next generation will need to be more and more comfortable with problems of dizzying complexity. And design thinking can teach them that. This workshop primarily teaches creative problem solving and the design process using hands on and fun activities.
With Design Thinking, children will learn key life skills like empathy and logical reasoning. The approach will be helpful for everyday school projects and also assist them to plan and focus. It’s a way of thinking that we believe, every kid should develop.
